CHOI+SHINE ARCHITECTS is an internationally awarded art and design studio founded by Jin Choi and Thomas Shine. Both hold a Master of Architecture degree from Yale University and have co-invented several patented works. Their artistic creations have been exhibited in museums and galleries worldwide, earning recognition in major press publications. The duo’s portfolio range in scale from small lighting fixtures shown at the Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum in New York to large infrastructure projects presented for the European Capital of Culture in Marseille, the Victoria & Albert Museum in London, the Deutsches Museum in Munich, Milan Design Week and Dongdaemun History & Culture Park in Seoul. Their public art installations have been showcased worldwide, including Phoebus Foundation’s international exhibition in Belgium and the Busan Biennale in South Korea. Notably, they were invited to create an artwork representing the 2018 Commonwealth Games in Australia and, more recently, they were commissioned for a traveling exhibition by the EU, the inauguration of the Grand Studio at Fukuoka Asian Art Museum in Japan and for an invited exhibition at Sharjah Art Museum in the UAE.
