Manifesta 15 Barcelona took place in Barcelona and 11 surrounding cities ot its metropolitan region.

Anaïs Florin, FR/ES

Anaïs Florin's art finds its home in the realm of public space intervention, placing a strong emphasis on collaborative efforts with fellow cultural influencers and platforms of citizen activism. With the aim of generating new social narratives, she delves deeply into the memories of places and their residents, as well as the struggles tied to territorial transformations.

Her creative approach merges visual art with activism, employing tools like banners, billboards, photography and community gatherings. Starting from archival material, Florin constructs new stories of involvement through interviews, attentive listening and cooperative efforts. Many of her projects are geared towards fostering collective ownership of urban spaces, always with an eye towards preserving the local environment and ensuring its enduring vitality.
