Massa Salvatge, a working cooperative in València founded by Teresa Mata and Alba Oller, executes projects for institutions and collectives, blending educational initiatives, cultural mediation, artistic productions, participatory processes, research and training. Focused on addressing social issues with an anti-adultist perspective, they foster critical imaginaries in education, art and culture. Teresa Mata, a cultural mediator with expertise in audiovisuals, art education and museum management, has led various projects interlinking art, education and social action. Alba Oller, a researcher and educator, teaches Art Education Didactics at the University of Alicante and is pursuing a PhD in teacher training in Art Education. She integrates cultural mediation with reflective practice, focusing on children's participation through visual media.
Lluc Mayol is an artist and graphic designer whose current projects are based on the relationships he establishes between editorial work and education, mediation and artistic creation. He views publishing as a performative and relational practice grounded in processes of coexistence, exchange and collective learning, which materialise in formats heavily influenced by artist publications, self-publishing, fanzines and free radio. With a strong political commitment, his work has always navigated between public institutions and community and self-managed spaces, maintaining a critical stance in both contexts and advocating for the public-common tension as the true backbone of culture. Committed to his environment, Mayol has been a driving force behind independent cultural platforms such as Saladestar and La fanzinoteca ambulant, in addition to being part of collective projects like Nau 21, Artdoules, L'Automàtica, Escuela Meme, La figuera and Massa Salvatge.
