Manifesta purposely strives to keep its distance from what are often seen as the dominant centres of artistic production, instead seeking fresh and fertile terrain for the mapping of a new cultural topography.
For this installation the Finnish collective ROR treated a variety of symbols and insignias of faith in an irreverent and unorthodox way. On the floor, the collective wove a (wall) rug and its pattern is a "TV tuning image" and on the wall, a "Bob Marley" cross stitch work.
