Manifesta purposely strives to keep its distance from what are often seen as the dominant centres of artistic production, instead seeking fresh and fertile terrain for the mapping of a new cultural topography.
In her installation, the Spanish artist Eulàlia Valldosera investigated the narrative power of everyday objects and daily actions such as eating, sleeping, cleaning and talking. She used dynamic light projections to create cohesion between objects of a different nature. In this way she hoped to reveal a hidden symbolic order of the everyday.
