In this installation German artist Marco Schmitt explored the conflict between freedom and security. He recreated Luis Buñuel’s surreal masterpiece El ángel exterminador substituting all the characters with police officers. Though law enforcement is perhaps the last thing some people would associate with absurdism, the film reveals how symbolic the rules of law and order truly are.
