Jokkoo, a musical artistic collective rooted in Barcelona, is driven by the intention to explore and amplify the most cutting-edge creations from the experimental and alternative scenes of the African continent, its diaspora and allied communities worldwide. Comprising DJs and artists, Jokkoo's multifaceted practices encompass cultural management, music production, composition for theater, dance, film, videography, 3D design, audiovisual performances and plastic arts. In their individual and collaborative pursuits, they forge connections and create spaces that provide a platform for dissident aesthetics and narratives. With six distinctive personalities sharing common objectives – Baba Sy, Maguette Dieng (Mbodj), Oscar Taylor (Opoku), Nicolas Beliot (Mooki6), Ismäel N'diaye (B4mba) and Miriam Camara (TNTC) – Jokkoo is a dynamic force shaping the contemporary artistic landscape.

cantdefine.me is formed by serahboo.m and unseena, a creative duo with heritage in Africa and Abya Yala. From their base in Barcelona, they reexamine the various dimensions of identity in the diaspora, with the intention of reimagining new narratives. Their practice mainly includes audiovisual research, with the goal of creating documentary archives that serve as a safe space for those who refuse to be defined by oppressive concepts. They also aim to delve deeper into the human experience and create lasting connections.
