Antoni Miralda is a multidisciplinary artist that has investigated the art of food for five decades, using a vibrant and inclusive language, humorous and based on participation and the celebration of the senses. Having experimented with photography, video, sculpture, collages, objects, monuments and parades, his spectacular way of understanding and engaging with art defies any classification. Nevertheless, his work is always rooted in social context and rituals – both modern and traditional – and conducts a particular and critical exploration of their logic through the ubiquitous role of food, activating through his practice a wide cultural exchange and dialogue.
