Manifesta purposely strives to keep its distance from what are often seen as the dominant centres of artistic production, instead seeking fresh and fertile terrain for the mapping of a new cultural topography.

Installation at Villa Vauban and public spaces
Luxembourgher artist Antoine Prum reflected on the ignored conflicts of Luxembourg. This work was formed by different projects. Firstly, a sound system made of violent film extracts fill an underground tunnel. Secondly, In the Luxembourg press, the artist launched rumors, unfounded but plausible. Finally, in the basement of Villa Vauban he archived criminal facts, both real and fictitious.
