Manifesta supports Ukraine #NoWar

On Sunday afternoon, thousands of protesters came together in Amsterdam, Berlin, Madrid and cities across the world, to share their support for Ukraine and to condemn this unnecessary violence.

We stand in solidarity with the people of Ukraine. We stand against this affront to the peace and security of our continent. We stand with the refugees who have been forced to flee their homes. Here at Manifesta, being European is central to who we are. We believe in the importance of a safe, unified Europe and hope that in the coming days an agreement for peace can be found.

In support of our Ukrainian friends, former colleagues and associates, we encourage you to show your support for this humanitarian crisis.

Here you can find links to different foundations and organisations to support:

How to help Ukraine as a foreigner
How to help Ukraine as a foreigner is an extensive list of local action groups across the world who are providing financial and practical support to Ukrainian refugees.

Nova Ukraine
Nova Ukraine is a non-profit organisation coordinating humanitarian support to the people of Ukraine and those fleeing to other countries.

United Help Ukraine
United Help Ukraine is fundraising for medical aid and humanitarian relief for the front line of Ukraine’s fight against Russia.

Fight for Right
During peace, Fight for Right campaigns for the rights of people with disabilities in Ukraine. Now, they want to provide crisis care for those with disabilities and ensure the safety of those who want to stay in Ukraine.

In solidarity,

Team Manifesta.
